House of Caviar
since 1924

A historic address rooted in its time:
our house is a promise of Parisian elegance,
with caviar as the guest of honour.

History

Adorned with mosaics, its Art Deco façade at 16 avenue Victor Hugo is a landmark of the Parisian landscape. A legendary address for caviar lovers since 1924, Maison Prunier embraces a new elegance through its culinary and design revival — led by chef Romain Fornell and interior architect Lázaro-Violan, two talents united by their love of the sea and respect for heritage. The Prunier restaurant remains anchored in the memory of its iconic figures: Alfred Prunier, Yves Saint Laurent, and Pierre Bergé.

Bar

With its interior listed as a Historic Monument, its oyster bar, and the graceful choreography of the service, it is the beating heart of the house. Signature cocktails, casual tastings, or late-night caviar — our bar offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere in the city, open 7 days a week with continuous service — for a late lunch or an early dinner — until 2 a.m.

Restaurant

Upstairs, in an equally historic setting that stays true to the spirit of the Izba salon so dear to Pierre Bergé, the restaurant offers a timeless table — a Fine Dining experience designed for conversation. A refined menu of French classics and grilled fish complements the selection of Prunier caviars and seafood.

Private Events

In a private lounge (“Pierre Bergé”, “La Rotonde”) or with full venue hire, our spaces can be tailored to your private or business events.
Whether a cocktail reception or a seated meal (from 10 guests), our team will adapt to your needs.
